3 Signs Your Man Might Be Gay
There is an odd statistic floating around the web that 20% of all gay men are in heterosexual relationships. Some men just can’t admit to themselves they are gay or fear that there might be social stigma to coming out, so they use relationships with women to hide the truth. Obviously, this is totally unfair to all parties involved, but mostly it is hurtful, dishonest, and disrespectful to the women who ultimately are betrayed by their man’s lack of courage and honesty. I am sure that most women at one point or another wonder if their partner might secretly be gay. However, in this day and age of metro-sexuality and men being overly sensitive and fussing over their appearance, it has never been harder to know when to really start to worry. So, here are the true tell tale warning signs.
1) Lack of sexual interest.
All relationships go through peaks and valleys in the bedroom. Sometimes there are periods where we naturally lose interest in one another for a short period. Other times we can’t seem to get enough of each other. However, if the sex has been infrequent from the start and then tapers off altogether, it may well be that he is not sexually interested in women at all. Sex is one of the most important parts of relationships and marriages. A complete lack of sexual desire on his part is not something to be taken lightly.
2) Excessive Texting /Computer Chatting
With the modern age, it has never been easier to keep contact with other people secretive. Most men dread excessive communication unless they are on the hunt. Remember when you first met and you couldn’t wait to talk to each other? If you notice that your man is constantly texting back and forth with his other male pals, or spending more than a few minutes chatting online (especially if he doesn’t have a job that requires constant contact), he may be on the prowl. If you go so far as to check his cell phone, look to see if it is obvious he has deleted conversations. Also, you can check for smart phone apps like Grindr, Growlr, or Scruff. These are cell phone apps that might look innocent, but are really male for male hookup sites.
3) Extreme Homophobia
If your man has excessively irrational hatred towards your gay friends or expresses strong anti-gay sentiments on a regular basis, he might be covering for his own desires to be with men. Senator Larry Craig vigorously opposed every piece of gay rights legislation and bill funding Aids research going so far as to call it a gay disease, only to be caught soliciting gay sex in an airport bathroom. If your man makes a big fuss every time something gay related comes up, there is probably a much deeper issue at play.
