Tips & Tricks for Beachside Sexual Escapades

It’s not just the name of a delicious drink. Sex on the beach is something most of us have on our bucket lists. Sexy images such as Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game music video, or the classic scene in From Here to Eternity inspire us to get a bit frisky in the sand. But, how to you enjoy your frolic in the sand without getting the sorry after effects? Adam and Eve share our methods with you!

  1. Unless both of you love sex in public, it’s best to find a secluded spot away from the main pedestrian traffic. If you’ve chosen to have your rendezvous during the day, you want to keep innocent children’s eyes away from your bumping and grinding. If your beach has outcroppings of rocks, or a shoreline that curves and doubles back on itself, it shouldn’t be too hard to find a secret spot.
  2. Sex on the beach means sand. Sand in bits is not only uncomfortable, but it can also lead to medical concerns if it’s not cleaned out properly. In order to avoid getting bits of the beach in your private areas while you get your groove on, bring a large blanket or a few beach mats. Spread it out as wide as it will go, that way you can explore a few position during your tryst. If you do get sand in places, be sure to shower it out, and pat dry. A bit of baby powder will also help get off those stubborn grains.

  3. If you’re having sex on the beach at sunset, make sure to bring some sort of lighting with you for the walk back. A flashlight, a pair of glow sticks, or even a candle will go a long way to lighting your path. As the sun goes down as you go down, it may get darker quicker than you anticipated. No one wants to attempt to navigate over a rocky shoreline in the dark!
  4. Check the weather before you head out. Sex in the rain may seem quite sexy, but in combination with your beachside environment, it may soon make the night of your dreams into a soggy, sand filled mess. Excess wind will also put a damper in the evening, as blown sand against the skin (and eyes) is less than sexy.
  5. Adam and Eve hope that as you head off to Spring Break or your summer vacations, you always stay safe in your sexual adventures. Be careful that you don’t get sand in your condoms, since this will affect the strength of the materials. It’ll also cause huge irritations to your receiving partner.
